Sprint Door Features |
| |
MCC Vector Control System
This innovative, intelligent door control system features soft-start/soft-stop techology, providing smoother operation during use, resulting in less wear on the door components which helps to extend the life of the door.
With speeds of up to 3.2m/s, sara will probably have the fastest door in the world for years to come. The software based modular design, allows further features to be added.
The graphical user interface is ideal for easy fault finding, thus reducing unnecessary call-outs.

|
sara 'non-contact' safety beam
A patented pre-running photocell which automatically detects any obstruction, and reverses the closing door, ensuring no damage to the door and providing greater personnel safety.
|
|
| |
|
Self testing safety contact edge
If the closing door meets an obstruction, it automatically reverses until fully open.
| |
| |
Knock-out protection
If an impact on the bottom rail causes the rail and curtain to break out of the side frames, the door will stop. It can be easily reset by hand or automatically, keeping down-time to a minimum.
| |
Emergency opening
In the event of a power failure, the door can be opened by releaseing the bowden brake lever. The door opens, and assisted by tension springs it can be easily pushed up. In some cases this operation is automatic for others opening is by hand crank.
| |
| |
Wind resistance
All doors have been tested and certified to EN 12424. The higher the number the better the wind rating for external openings. See Sprint door comparison chart.
|
|
Curtain tensioning system
This system allows the door to be powered in both directions giving better balance over the curtain area, especially in high winds.
|
|
| |
Bottom rail stopper
The stopper prevents the bottom rail from rising if the door curtain is pushed. It also improves the wind rating and protects against vermin.
