From roller door specialist sara, the Sprint 600 can cope with demanding environments and intensive traffic whilst maintaining high standards of safety.
Its modular construction is easily tailored to meet individual user requirements, while a high priority has also been placed on the door’s appearance to meet increasing ergonomic demands. With its opening speed of up to 3m/s, the door is powered by sara’s intelligent MCC Vector Control, which combines high performance, quieter operation and reduced energy costs.
In turn, all component parts of the door, from the materials to the control system and safety devices, are designed to cope with high stresses for long periods: side frames are made of anodised aluminium and there is a choice of door curtains and colours. Suitable for openings with heavy traffic and heavy wind loads, inside and out, the Sprint 600 has a wind resistance in accordance with EN 12424, class 3 — that’s wind speeds of up to hurricane force.
An integrated counter-balancing and tension system ensures safe opening and closing: door curtain tension is retained at all times when rolling, for smooth operation in windy locations. The curtain can be of transparent PVC to improve the view of oncoming traffic, or from Rolltex, a rigid but light polyester fabric.
